GeForce gtx 670 ti gpu questions

Hello i was upgradeing my computer and had a few questions

My Current Computer

My question is this i wanted to upgrade the computer slowly but surely first being the graphics card and my current mobo is pci express 2.0x16(x4) and all the news graphics cards are pci express 3.0x16 now i wanted to know if I could put a 3.0 pic express card into a 2.0 slot( i been told it will not run as fast as it could still not sure)

Also was woundering if i should upgrade the power supply this card says 500 watt but i think i should upgrade.

The pcie 3.0 cards are compatible with previous pcie, like the 2.0, you have one at 16x, there's no hit in performance.
A 670 gtx requires a 500w psu, the apevia that you chose isn't better than the rosewill stallion, i don't recommend the apevia psus, if you want a new psu get from brands like antec,xfx,corsair,etc, a quality one is what you need.

Yes, you can put a pci 3.0 card into a 2.0 slot - it won't bottleneck whatsoever. There's not a card yet that is faster than a pci2.0 x16 slot.

It can handle it, but it's a dual rail +12V, and the stallion series are not that good, if you can afford to buy a new quality psu it will be better, but if you don't then just stay with the rosewill.
