Hi,I just recently build a desktop and my GPU fan does not turn.
I'm not overclocking and I'm not sure if the fan has ever turned. The LED near where I plug in the power chord does light up and I can use the desktop except when I play graphic intensive games, which causes my GPU temperature to go around 97 degree Celsius and the computer restarts.
I think my driver is up to date (Geforce 332.21 Driver)
I tried using the Nvidia Control Panel, but can't seem to get the fan to turn using that either.
As seen in the picture, the cooling is at close to 0%. When I try to get it, I always receive an error message, "The changes made were invalid and will not be applied."
Under Device Rule, I added in the fan since it wasn't there in the beginning
The new rule doesn't seem to do anything. I restarted my computer but the fan still doesn't turn.
I would really appreciate If anyone could help me figure out whether I just need to change my setting or if I have a defective GPU.
The following is the spec for my desktop:
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670 Quad Core 3.4GHZ Processor LGA1150
GPU: ASUS GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5 GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit
PSU: Thermaltake Tough Power TP-750P 750W ATX 12V 2.3
Motherboard: Asus Z87-K Motherboard
Hard drive: Western Digital WD Blue WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR
