So, I built this computer in June of 2013 and it's been running great ever since. Just recently I've had an issue where my GPU driver won't run. These are my specs:

Motherboard: EVGA X79 SLI
CPU: Intel Core i7 - 3930k LGA2011
GPU: Geforce GTX 780 (ASUS)
RAM: 16GB
Current OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit

What's happening and what I've tried:
I recently update to Windows 10, where I also installed the latest drivers for the GPU on Win10. The next day I powered on my computer to find it would BSOD each time.

No problem, so I went into safe mode where I uninstalled the current GPU driver and now it works fine. Reinstalling any new or old driver for Windows 10 will result in a code 43 in the device manager for old drivers, or a BSOD when installing the latest driver compatible with Windows 10.

I thought it might have been a problem with Windows 10 so I reverted back to 8.1. The issue persisted after that where I am still having the exact same issue: Old drivers won't work and return a code 43 in the device manager and the latest driver simply BSOD with a SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (nvlddmkm.sys).

I've tried everything I could think of. Uninstalling everything related to NVIDIA, Reinstalling older drivers, using a Display Driver Uninstaller, trying a different PCI express Slot, and updating the BIOS, but to no avail. The only driver that works would be the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter that is used when no other driver is installed.

Can anyone help me with this issue? Thanks in advance!
