I recently had my EVGA Geforce GTX 560 graphics card fry on me for reasons unknown. It was under warranty so I called EVGA and they sent me a replacement. I don't know why (maybe because they don't manufacture the GTX 560 anymore?) but the replacement they sent is a Geforce GTX 950. I installed the graphics card and booted up, and absolutely nothing happened. I use a 32" LG HDTV as my monitor, and it was acting as if nothing was connected. I could hear my Windows boot up through my speakers however. I tried switching the card to a different PCIe slot with the same result.

One big difference I noticed was that the GTX 950 uses an 8-pin PSU connector whereas the GTX 560 used two 6-pin connectors, and my Diablotek power supply only has one natural 8-pin connector which is connected to my motherboard, other than that it just has 2 of the 6+2 pin connectors. I also called EVGA and the only solution they had for me was to update my BIOS. My motherboard is an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0. Here are my system specs after running dxdiag:

Please help, I'd really rather not have to wait for another graphics card to be delivered, although I have started another RMA claim in case they just sent me a faulty graphics card.

Solution
I know the reason it fried. The fact that you are running it off a tier five PSU that probably cost what it cost because aluminum is expensive these days (I think). It's probably the same reason your current one isn't working.
