Irrisory .2 TFLOPS DP performance, no back-plate, blower cooler, no full DX12 support, a thousand dollars, yeah, sure, only an idiot would fall for this.

Are they not going to produce the GTX990? I've been sitting with the 690 for a while and have been wanting to upgrade to another dual gpu board.

Move it to the new lithography, add a back plate, use a better cooler, and I'll consider it. Still waiting on the die shrink before moving to the newest gen of cards (lower heat, lower power usage).

Does it have 2/12 GB at lower speed?

DP is cut so much... I understand that chip is huge already but still, its $1000 and it will be outperformed by cheaper 980ti in games. It must have something really good and memory isn't the thing. They should've screw power consumption for more valuable features than memory.

You can get the same GPU for $200 in 3 years. That's why i chose to upgrade every 2-3 years with a mid level GPU.

I have 960 now.

These kinds of cards are for rich people and those that do developing or editing or rendering.

The 0.2 DP makes this card perform worse then the previous Titan. It is complete nonsense to "upgrade" or downgrade for that matter for anyone who is seeking prosumer capabilities.

SLI 980s are more powerful, but you're plagued with the hardships of poor SLI/Crossfire support in a lot of games (at least I am). IGN already posted some of their own benchmarks for it. And I must admit its not as strong as I would want it in 4k, but I'd gladly upgrade from my 670x2 to enjoy single GPU bug free gaming again considering the price difference for aforementioned setup is about 10%.

I'ts apparently more powerful than SLI'd non titanium 980s
Two 980ti's may beat it, but you aren't saving anything at that point.
