Geforce MX 4000 graphic card installation problems

Hello,
Installed Geforce MX 4000 in Dell Dimension 4600 and got to desktop but no start button then rebooted and got tool bar and no icons. Dell Dimension has integrated video but would like to get this Nvida card to work. Have 1 gig memory installed with 160 gig hard drive. thanks

Did you disable the integrated in device manager before installing the card?

No I did not disable integrated before I installed the card. Thanks I'll try that next.
