Question GeForce PCB - bakside heatsink retention bracket - buy, where?!

Hi,

A couple of weeks ago I bought a 2000-series geforce.

Somehow I broke the retention bracket on the pcb backside in 3 pieces, the card work anyway ofc, but I can feel it's not making 100% contact in some places.

I've been in contact with manufacturer, my own retailer stores here in Sweden.. but none can supply me with that thing.

Please, please...PLEASE help me...

These brackets are not mounted on some cards, and are for sure not mounted with cards with a full cover backplate. I got my own 770GTX, that one had no bracket.

I've been googling, contacting 6-8 companies that provied either spare parts for computer related stuff, putting up ads on different forums/markets... no success.

Anyone?

Those are intended to be used with the right cooling solution to produce the appropriate tension or load distribution.

What specific GPU? You could just buy a 'decorative' backplate to replace it.

Probably others out there.

Should stiffen the board up a little. The screws on the back of the card that go over the retention bracket should have springs to maintain tension.
