Question Geforce RTX 2060 Black Screen

Hello everyone,

I just recently bought a HP Omen gt13-0024 which was open box at best buy.

The specs are :
AMD Ryzen 7-Series - 3700X - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 - 1TB HDD + 256GB SSD - Black

And I get a black screen when I play a newer game or up the settings on other games and everytime I have to reboot the computer.

The first game I tried was World War Z it would load a little bit past the main menu then black screen, you could still hear the sound. Then I got 7 days to die which actually runs but when I put the settings on high or ultra it will black screen as well. It normally does it right after you load into the game, one time it ran ultra settings for like 5 minutes then finally black screened.

I even tried Fortnite on Epic Settings and it made it all the way until I was in a match and was about to land then it black screened. Each time you can hear the sound for a bit then I have to reboot the computer. And of course it runs on medium or low settings just fine.

I have tried almost everything I seen on other threads on here and other sites to fix it. That includes buying a program to update all the drivers, updating the drivers using NVIDIAs Geforce Experience. Changing setting after setting in the NVIDIA Control Panel like "Adjust desktop size and position", changing the "power management mode" to "prefer maximum performance". Trying to run the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode and so much more.

After going through setting after setting and getting the same result I am to believe that it's not that easy of a fix and there may be something wrong with the GPU. I know some people might tell me to just play on low settings but some games don't have the option of lowering the settings and this computer is built to run games at high settings.

I managed to get a dump file the last time it did it and hopefully someone on here can use that information to point me in the right direction. I will buy a new GPU if necessary but I want to make sure that's the problem.

I will put the .dump file results below, thank you!!

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff8047caf0d2f, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: ffff9986e74e4718, Exception Record Address
Arg4: ffff9986e74e3f50, Context Record Address

So we pretty much have the same problem, but my fans don't go to max speed. Google how to get your crash dump and post it somewhere and hopefully someone can help us out. I might end up calling best buy If I don't get any leads on here or reddit as I got a 15 return policy and they might give me a new one.
