Hey all..
I just built a system for a friend of mine, and it has a GeForce4 MX 400 with svideo TV Out. I'm having a bit of trouble getting the TV Out working properly.
First, it seems that it will only display the picture on the TV if I unplug the monitor from the card, turn off the PC, then turn it back on with the svideo plugged in only. Is there any way around this?
Second, the picture on the TV only comes through in black and white. I'm pretty sure that it isn't simply a driver issue, as it displays the ASUS splash screen that appears before windows loads in black and white as well. I've done a bit of preliminary research into the issue, and it seems that the popular opinion is that he needs to get an svideo to scart adapter to get a proper image from the card. Is this accurate?
The TV I'm connecting it to is a big 60+ inch projection TV, if that matters.
Thanks in advance for any help offered.
