?GeForce vs. Radeon?

Ok..my friend is building a new system from the ground up and the question is.."Which card is better for gaming? (GeForce2 GTS 64 or Radeon DDR 64)
money is not important here....power is the key!

If $ is not important go for the Gforce ultra. Or if you can wait (yeah right) get the NV20, coming this spring to a dealer near you (I hope).

You can't beat the Geforce2 Ultra for gaming. Nvidia is the king of framerates. The strong points of ATI cards are usually DVD playback and video in/out options.

The GeForce2 mentioned is better for gaming.

agreed the geforce mentioned puts the radeon to shame. Radeon is cool but in many tests it finds its self more in the geforce2mx catagory of performance. Of course it has more options but price wise not really worth it. Geforce 2 GTS all the way.

thanks for all your replies...I think she's gonna go with either a Prophet II Ultra or the ASUS V7700 GeForce.
