i have a problem getting back to the orignal driver for my video card, i have a creative labs annihilator 2, and i stupidly installed the nvidia drivers for win 2k pro, and they dont work as well as the creative drivers, and i tryed to go back to the cerative driver, the screen goes blank and the speakers produce an awful sound. can anyone tell me how to do it?

It might not be a problem with the video card drivers. Do you have a Sound Blaster Live?
I've had alot of problems in win2k with my system crashing like that: screen freeze and an irritating 150db screech from the speakers! Talk about bad... I've always had problems in the past with Creative Labs Sound cards and Win NT, and I think thats whats going on, but I can't stop it. Creative seldom updates their sound card drivers, so I don't know what to do either.
Win 2k, Athon1.1, Abit kt7, CL SB live 5.1, Asus v7700.
