Geforce2 MX

I have new Geforce2 MX 32 MB
And in w2k it runs @ 75 Mhz.
If I rise it to 85 MHz then picture quality is poor.
Does it have to be so?

My monitor is new 17" ViewSonic PF 775

Machine:
AMD K7 900 MHz
128 MB DIMM PC 133
UATA 100 IBM DESKSTAR 30 GB
ASUS A7V

I've checked the Viewsonic web site and according to it, the PF775 will support the following refresh rates:
1,600 x 1,200 @ 77Hz
1,280 x 1,024 @ 90Hz
1,024 x 768 @ 118Hz
800 x 600 @ 149Hz
What resolution (screen area) are you running at?

I use 1024*768
Yes monitor may support those resolutions
but picture quality is poor.
My display settings let me choose ... 75, 85.
75 is clear but 85 goes kinda blurry.

So far I use some PowerColor (original) drivers - I'll see what happens with detonator drivers. Thanks anyway.

I have VieSonics at work, they dont do what they ott to. I just have changed res to 85 (from 75) and could not look at the screen, it is not that it is not sharp, but it is kinda very tens, hard for eyes, could not even read without tension in my eyes (PC has ATI Rage card, which is good in 2D). On Sonys I can do up to 100 without any problems in reading with the same card, so it is a monetir, not a card. Try to use different moniter with that card to see the differenciyon... heh
