geforce3 speed

I am wondering if the geforce3 performance can mach or pass
the speed of the geforce2 ultra, every where they say that
the geforce3 is 3 times fastest than the ultra due to it's
lighting speed memory, but till now we ain't see any benchmark comparing the nv20 to the ultra, and i am wondering what will be the next ATI card, did it will surpass the nv20 or not.
And at lest why the pc geforce3 is not like the xbox geforce3, or better???????????????

The GeForce3 in the xbox is identical to the one made for PC's. The reason the XBox is faster is because the CPU and GPU of it interface directly and do not need to talk through the AGP Bus.

I think that a lot of people are missing the fact that the GeForce3 wasn't simply designed to be "faster" than the GeForce2. There are major differences in the chips and speed is one of them, but I think all the new features are more important. ESP. image quality and FSAA. Just my two sense.
