Hey guys!

Great site I must say. This is my first post. I'm sorry if this question has been asked before as I haven't had the time to read the other posts here.

I'm planing on buying a GeForce3 Ti200 and hooking it up with a spare 21" tv. From most cards I have seen, they support only up to 1024X768 for tv out. Is this sufficient? My other question is, by hooking up the 2 together, will there be any advantages/disadvantages as to hooking up the v/c with a monitor. How much difference will there be hooking it up to a tv rather than a monitor?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The monitor will be sharper, and i believe that Tv's only support 640x480 anyways. I haven't tried it on my Radeon yet, I might tho.

hi. like AEboy128 mentioned, your tv is only at 640x480. when you connect both your tv and monitor at the same time the picture wont be as bright and sharp on both tv and monitor. its probably better to just use a monitor. if you get HDTV use the tv it'll go up to 1024x768 and its a huge picture.
