GELID Gamer Wing 12 PL as cpu fan ?

can i use GELID Gamer Wing 12 PL fan as the cpu fan with the 212 evo ?? the fan has a pwm connector so i guess it should work but ill still ask to be 100% sure

well i heard someone said if i use a 3pin fan as the cpu cooler it will say error he said

As I said, it depends on the motherboard, but most boards are fine 3-pin fans.

i have the Asus P8B75-M LX. Is that one ok ?

but the fan i want to replace it with only has 1,200rpm.. i was going to go with push and pull config but idk if 1,200rpm is recommended/good enough with the 212 evo

im sure the asrock z97 extreme 4 supports 3pin fans as a cpu cooler

I'd say 1200rpm is just fine. And AsRock Z97 should support it as well.
