Gen2 PCI Express

I have a Gigabyte DS5 and in the hidden options in the bios there is somethings about Gen2 PCI Express enable and disable. The manual doesn't say anything about these hidden options and I don't know anything about Gen2. Is there anything I should do with these to tweak my system? Thanks

It sounds like a PCIE 2.0 option. Was it enabled by defualt?
If it is what it sounds like, which is PCIE 2.0 then enable it sense your video card is PCIE 2.0 as well.

thanks for the links. It seems like it wasn't enabled but I will have to get into bios later and make sure. It seems like it should be enabled by default. My benchmarks make me feel like it is. Thanks for the help.

Turns out all 5 options for Gen2 were disabled. The other option was autonomous so I wondered if it had something to do with crossfire. Anyway, I enabled everything that seemed to do with slot 1. My score on 3dmark 06 went up 70 points! Although I probably should do more testing to be sure. I only have one card.

Seems strange that there would be nothing in the manual about this.
