My current set-up consists of a god knows how old Intel Q series workstation CPU (Quad core 2.66 GHz) that I got for free. With a Nvidia GTX 660 I bought, which from best buy. Me and my 80 gig HDD, room == none.

I've managed to save up $680 towards a nice new build. I'm the type of person who would like to have a flashy PC since I am spending quite a bit of dough on it. While I have a somewhat adequate knowledge of computers, I fail to comprehend the aspects of cooling and the MOBOs.

*Reasonable* price differences will not make a difference in my decision to upgrade. Please do not suggest parts if they are not needed.

For the sake of a few dollars I may get the FX - 6300 due to most games I play do not utilize 4+ cores. 6 cores should still bode well when rendering/editing etc.

I live in Florida. My room often reaches the high 80's to low-high 90's as I do not use my A/C system. A quiet high end liquid cooling system with Corsair Link Compatibility seemed to work best for me, as I can manage my various fans etc.

This MOBO seemed to have the best bang for its buck, and seems to work well OCing. It also fits nicely with my black/red theme.

This kick-ass case does have a window, and I am going for a red/black theme. The rest of my system is pretty much Corsair so why not the RAM? I don't mind the extra price. I mean I already saved up $680 why not $30 more? (I plan to buy red LED fans down the road)

This is a pretty standard HDD. I have no need for an SSD, I don't really need 20 second faster loading times. Patience is a virtue 😉

This case fits the cooler nicely, it has spookily good airflow, and supports up to 8 fans >😀. The thing that really caught my eye is the mobility of the case. With me being 16 have divorced parents I tend to travel alot so case mobility is a certain plus. (this case had hinges on the top for easy carrying)

Pretty standard, reputable PSU I guess. My final build will have a GTX 780, 970 or 980. My current GTX 660 suits my needs just fine. No rush. It's Gold rated so the stability is assured.

Any thoughts/suggestions? I plan to do a bit of video rendering, streaming (alot of streaming), etc. So please do keep that in mind when suggesting Intel CPUs .I already have a GPU that suits my needs so I'll upgrade it later on.

Or if you really want some portability, here is a mini build with the same core parts. The case has a handle on top.
