Hello! i have recently been using EVGA Precision X1 Overclocking software for easy gpu overclocking. I have two questions that im not sure of since this is my first time using gpu overclocking software.
1. Do i have to keep starting up the software to overclock my gpu? or once i apply the overclock does it stay?
2. If the overclock does stay without always having to start up the overclocking software then i have a 1060 in my system but am going to replace it today with a 1080ti. if i uninstall the gpu drivers and reinstall them once replacing the 1060 for the 1080ti will i have to remove the overclock or tell the software to stop overclocking the gpu? or will the software know that its a different gpu and stop trying to overclock it?
basically i just want to make sure i have no issues when it comes to swapping the GPUs due to the overclock and i also want to know that once i have the 1080ti in my system and i start to use the evga precision x1 software to overclock my gpu again that i dont have to constantly start up the software to keep overclocking or if i just overclock once and not need to use the software again.
