General text distortion and bleeding

Hey guys, i recently changed my graphic card and formatted my pc and have been having some really weird issue with my monitor. The graphics appear fine but the text is really weird, and sometimes it bleeds red. By weird i mean its hard to read, like some letters appear thinner than they should be. My monitor is set to native res and 120 MHz.

Try re-installing the video drivers. You may need to install an older version. Hopefully that will fix your issue.

It still looks the same, what else could it be?

Try using a different cable, or connected to a different port.

Exactly which monitor do you have?

HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort, VGA as a last resort.

I know its more gaming oriented and not so much towards quality, but this is clearly a defect somewhere.

Im using DVI at the moment. My monitor and vga both accept HDMI, but i HDMI was for consoles?

Also, i like gaming at 120hz so switching to 60 would be a last resort.

If all connections provide the result and if switch it to 60Hz mode doesn't help either, then the best thing to do is to call Benq's tech support and probably ask for a RMA if it is still under warranty.

I changed from slot one to slot two, and it is gone now hehehehehe. Does it mean the port is defected?

It's possible. A way to find out is by install a different video card in that slot to see if you get the same results.
