How to find the Generation of an Intel CPU. Mine is i5-760

Can we identify the CPU's Gen from the details printed on it?

Yup. Find the model number. If it's four digits, first digit is the model. If three, it's 1st gen.

Only works for i3/i5/i7, LGA115x package.
