Generic Pnp Monitor problem

Hello im using asus vg245he monitor but windows reads it as Generic Pnp Monitor when i look at system devices. But when i look at radeon settings app the app detects my monitor model correctly. I want to solve this issue because i cant use freesync... My drivers are all up to date

You have to download driver from https://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/VG245HE/HelpDesk_Download/
And usually you have to unpack dont install multiframe software and then manually update the driver in device manager.

I tried this actually if you mean unzipping the file and choosing that folder to update the driver by saying "unpack dont install multiframe" but that didn't worked for me...

You unpack the winrar/zip , you go to device manager, right click update on GenericPNP monitor under monitors , browse then browse again the folder, tick the include subfolders then click next, it should install.
