Generic PSU with GTX 1050 Ti

Hi, I will have soon a 1050 Ti (Asus Phoenix), and I have a generic psu.
My pc is: A10 7860k 3.60GHz, Ram 8 GB DDR3, and a a68hm-e.
My question is: will my 450w generic psu be enough for the 1050 Ti (considering my processor, ram and motherboard)

Very likely as long as you get one with pcie power.

I wouldn't use a generic psu on any hardware I was not prepared to lose.

I definitely agree... Maybe a better move would be a new 500 watt PSU and a 1050 no ti. My 1050 does fine... And should work great for just about anyone with a 1080p monitor.

I'd have to know the exact model number to make a decision. What makes it generic? Is it oem? In that case some of them are not generic and can be decent. Or is it some no name chinese brand? That I would suspect to make fireworks.
