Generic Ultra HS-SD/MMC USB Device

this thing just popped into my hard drive list in my device manager today. i have no idea what it is or what it does, is it safe to disable??

my specs are

windows 7
crucial m4 256 ssd drive
asus maximus IV extreme-z mobo
i72600k

i click properties and it says "on location USB mass storage device"

Maybe it's somekind of HD on the motherboard to save some vital data. I have the same thing.
