Genius mouse spins

Hi. I have a Genius optical mouse (very cheap, yeah), and sometimes when I play any 1st person shooters (any) the screen spins in a point of the ground. I would like to know if the problem really is the mouse or another thing, like the motherboard.

Trying a different mouse is a lot cheaper and easier than trying a different motherboard. Borrow someones mouse for a bit or just buy a new one.
