Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9
Asus M4A785T-M Mobo
AMD Phenom II X4 965

How do I get this kit to operate at 1800?

CPU-Z is reporting 803.6 mhz, I had to go into bios and manually change it to 800 mhz. I understand DDR and it is at 1607.2

I changed timing settings to 9,10,9,27

What do I have to change to get it to run at 1800?

According Asus website
http://asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3/M4A785TM/#specifications
your mobo just support 1800(OC) it means you need find in the bios memory frequency / memory FSB, That's have option [1800], while in the bios not show 1800 you need overclock it via FSB CPU, say your FSB at 200 that need raise to 240. and this is a problem of BE cpu, some time is not strong with a high FSB. because based cpu overclock use multiplier and small raise FSB.
Raise fsb cpu at 240 , the ram will run in 1800, of course, by loosening the timings and raise the ram voltage

The only option is gives me that allows a setting of 240 is the CPU/HT ratio I set it to 240 and it does not POST. The bios also has a setting that I can choose the % of overclock 2, 5, 8 and 10%. I set it to 10% and it gave me over 1700 mhz on the RAM. As soon as I started Prime the system crashed. Do I need to increase the voltages for it to be stable?
