im using i5 2500, which is a really old cpu, but with only a little budget, thats all i got. But since the patch 2.0 of PUBG released, i cant play it stable 60fps anymore, so i want to upgrade it to a K version( 2500k)
btw, im using gigabyte b75 motherboard, if i OC the 2500k with this motherboard, how many percent would it increase? is that worth the price ?
thnx all for helping !

What GPU? Going from a 2500 to 2500k with a locked motherboard is not worth it at all, I would only expect a few percent performance increase if that depending on your GPU. Going to a i7 2700, 2700k, 3770, or 3770k might be worth it again depending on your GPU and the price you could find one for.

Yeah. PUBG is pretty CPU heavy from my understanding, so something like an i7 2700 or 3770 should give you a decent improvement. If you can tell me your CPU and GPU usage while playing PUBG I might be able to give you an estimate of what to expect.
