How can I get into BIOS to edit settings? Was attempting setting up dual boot, using GA-965P-S3 Rev 3.3 MoBo,with F14 AWARD BIOS. Problem is result of incorrect mix of IDE & AHCL setting. One INTEL SSD-530 with Win 8.1 installed, one SEAGATE SATA HDD with Win XP, one WD 2TB SATA HDD for data. On startup, POST beep sounds. Then BIOS runs jmicron drive detection which stalls at "Please Wait,,,|"----and I am still waiting. Is there a solution??

I got a hint at possible solution by looking at tricks others have tried, with mixed results
Thanks all who are chasing similar threads. My solution was to pull the CMOS battery and ALL devices - interface modules EVERYTHING except keyboard and mouse. I then re-installed CMOS battery, powered up while poking the DELETE key, and Voila - the BIOS dialogue page became accessible again. Selected most conservative BIOS settings, POST came up again without a moan, and still providing access to BIOS dialogue, so I plugged everything (It had previously been running in the same hardware configuration ) Powered up, and POST ran perfectly then on to successful boot into Win 8.1. Remember that this was a DEAD MoBo so far as putting any revisions into the CMOS before this procedure was tried. (No FDD, no USB boot etc.)
Hope this helps someone in a similar situation.
