get rid of win 10 files

i tried to download win 10 but it stopped after 4 minutes. i was told that 10 was incompatible with my Norton 360. i had black screen until i was able to get back to windows 7 premium home edition. Now i can only log on as a temporary user, i cannot get to my files. i feel that 10 corrupted my system and i cannot find the partially downloaded win 10 files to delete them. i called microsoft and they tried to help, finally the girl set up an appointment with someone more capable but they never kept the appt.

The compatibility checker would have told you ahead of the install that norton was incompatible, it's shown up for the systems I tried to upgrade that had symantec software.

If you can, enter safe mode (check your device manual for instructions) and uninstall norton. You can then go to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install and follow the instructions there to upgrade.
