Get signal with traditional wii

I plugged everything into its place, and it's says, Looking for signal... Then, No Signal (Is it on?) It is on!!! What should I do???

Try different ports on the TV (I'm assuming). If you have other cables, try those too. Make sure you are on the correct input, as silly as it sounds.
