Get wifi hotspot in desktop

Hi.
I use a usb wimax internet modem. I want to make my desktop a wifi hotspot.
I have a wifi adaptor. how can i share my usb modem internet through the adaptor?

If both the wireless adapter and the USB WiMax Internet are on the same machine you can put the wireless adapter in ad hoc mode and check ICS (Internet connection sharing) in the network control panel, change adapter settings, in the WiMax adapter right click and select properties, then sharing tab and check the box to allow other network users to connect. This will allow any devices that attach to your wifi adapter to use the Internet.
