it just started today after 2 hours playing, my disk usage in the "system" process went up to 100%, and i was finding why, i disabled the common things like super fetch and windows search, and after closing teamspeak, it when to 0%, so i thought it was teamspeak, then i played a video and it went to 100% again, so i thought it was my audio driver so i updated it, and the problem still continuing every time i play some sound in the pc, like testing the speaker in the playback devices.

Windows is updated

Any idea why is that happening?

Welcome to the community, @Bexus_!

I'd recommend you check what other process could be causing these HDD spikes through the Resource monitor in Windows. If you have an anti-virus/malware software, check your system for any possible infections. Another thing that you should consider is checking the cables to the HDD and make sure that it's properly connected. It might also be a good idea to swap the SATA cable and the SATA port where it's connected to the motherboard. I'd also suggest you backup all your important data from the drive somewhere off-site and the use its brand-specific diagnostic tool or a third-party alternative to check up on the health and SMART status of the HDD.

Keep me posted & Good luck! :)
