[SOLVED] Getting 1536*864 in full hd setting?

Hello,

Wanted to upgrade from my old monitor so I bought the Dell S2719DGF - 144hz - 1440p...

Adjusted my native resolution to. 1920-1080 but when I tested the screens resolution I keep getting 1536-864 using:

• whatsmyscreenresolution.com
• bestfirms.com

The weired thing is that, when changing the native resolution to 2560-1440 I get 2048-1152...

Why is that?

Scale and layout are at 100%
GPU gigabyte 1060 g1 gaming
Ryzen 5 2600x

Those types of sites are absolutely worthless at identifying your actual screen resolution.

Your resolution is whatever it is in settings.

And for the record, I tried it on two laptops and one desktop and it got the resolution wrong each time. 2048x1152 for my 1440p monitor, 1536x864 for two laptops in 1080p.

If your monitor was actually at oddball resolutions, you'd see some weird-looking things; things don't scale that well.
