I have a 3tb back up hard drive at 5400 rpm for my PC. It works great but now I need a main drive at 7200 rpm. Currently I'm looking at: Seagate 3TB Desktop HDD SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Drive Retail Kit (STCL3000400) for $109.86. The other one is Seagate 3TB Desktop HDD SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive (ST3000DM001) for $89.30. Both are from Amazon. Is it the same exact hard drive, but the one labeled retail comes with a disk and maybe a manual, and the other doesn't? I'm juts wondering if that's the case.

I don't mind paying a little extra if the model has been upgraded and lasts a little longer/etc. But if it's the exact same one, I'd rather just get the cheaper one lol.

Right but are they both the exact same model, but one's bare and the other isn't? Not sure how to tell by the model numbers.

No that's all I needed. I've worked on my computer for over a year now. Been having a blast as this was the first one I ever built. GPU, CPU, Motherboard, PSU all set. Just need some hard drive space. And I got all my questions answered from this website. Thanks, and to anyone else reading this.
