I've been playing at 1024x768, 4:3 stretched always, for months now. Just now started up my PC, entered CS:GO, black bars. Cannot get it to play in 4:3 stretched at all.
I've tried again and again changing the Scaling mode in AMD Radeon Settings (I have an RX 480), changed full panel (what I had it at always) to preserve to center to everything available. Doesn't change anything, black bars everytime I open CS:GO.
Tried making a custom resolution, 1024x768, CVT, says input not supported when I open CS:GO. Delete custom resolution, and yeah. Now I'm here. I don't know why the hell it suddenly doesn't want to open in 4:3 stretched.
Just tried out changing the monitor refresh rate. When I set it at 60Hz, it opens CS:GO in 4:3 Stretched. When I set it at 144Hz, it opens 4:3 Black bars. Can't see any reason as to why. Up until now it's opened 4:3 Stretched 144Hz with no problem, and now suddenly there's a problem. Monitor is Acer GN246HL.
