Getting a 980ti from zotac for my 550w build.

Hi, so I already have a rig.
This is the setup in question:
Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
Corsair H110i GTX 104.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Asus Z170-DELUXE ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
EVGA SuperNOVA G2 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
All in a Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5 ATX Mid Tower Case.

So I want to get a gpu. There is a person near"ish" me that is selling his Zotac GTX980ti Amp Extreme.
I have looked around on different websites and some say my psu will not be enough and some say it is... So anyone of you might help?
I have been looking on the websites of the manufacturers of all my parts and I looked at max consumption as well (not TDP) and it does look like 550watts would be okay, or am I wrong?

Also wondering how it will be if this setup is if I want to add 1 8gb ram stick later on too.

It should be sufficient, but you are cutting it close. No reason to get a new PSU right now, but when you rebuild your PC consider an upgrade.

I second the fact that it will be tight. I'm getting around 500W recommended. Fortunately you have a good quality supply. Please keep in mind that if you are planning to do any overclocking on either your CPU or GPU, you'll definitely want to upgrade your PSU.

One thing odd I noticed about your system, why only one DIMM? Your systems memory subsystem works much faster in dual channel mode.

I chose one dim because on amazon there was a deal for the 1x 8gb stick at the time and I did not have enough money yet to have two sticks. I know that what you say is true, but it was something that will be added later 😉

Understood, everyone has a budget. Make sure to get exactly the same part number DIMM (and sometimes that's no guarantee) so you aren't mixing RAM.

Understood, everyone has a budget. Make sure to get exactly the same part number DIMM (and sometimes that's no guarantee) so you aren't mixing RAM.
