Getting a black screen when starting a computer,but it works in safe mode (GPU problem?)

So as a title says after i got a frozen screen yesterday and restarted computer i can't get into windows,it just shows a black screen...safe mode does turn it on tho.I tried uninstalling display adapter and it worked without it,but when i reinstalled drivers the same problem is back.

Does this mean my GPU is dead?What else could i try to resolve this issue?any help would be appreciated.

Also if it maters my GPU is AMD R9 270

if it works without the driver then its point to the gpu itself.have u tried other gpu or using ur gpu in a different system?

Dont have any other GPU at hand atm,will try it soon tho.Does that means GPU is dead probably?

it could be assume dead.unless u can get it to run in another system.i use to have a msi laptop with an mxm gpu.the laptop screen will stay blank unless i remove the card or remove the driver.i bought a new mxm card and the laptop boots normally.so yeah it could be the same situation with your pc.PS: i got the old card to work again with a very unconventional method which is baking it in the oven(i do not recommend doing so).
