Some context:
I have a personal gaming computer, built it 2.5 years ago, it has a ryzen 1300x. Im building a simple pc for my office and I already bought the parts. I bought a ryzen 2600 and my plan is to use the new 2600 for my gaming pc and transfer the 1300x to my office build. My questions are:
1. Do I need any bios update for my gaming computer for the new 2600? The MB is a Asus prime b350-plus.
2. Do I need to get thermal paste for the old 1300x or can I just try to transfer it as cleanly as possible without screwing the thermal paste that it already has. The thermal is the one that comes in the stock fan of every Ryzen.
BTW I dont want to to transfer my MB beacuse the one that I bought for my office is a mini atx since it is a computer for simples tasks.
