Question Getting a new mobo / ram / cpu quick question

sorry if this is the wrong place to post i saw a laptop section but not a desktop general unless i missed it, but i was wondering im getting a new mobo / cpu /ram will i be able to use my SSD as is with all my data on it or am i gonna need to reformat completely?

No, you're advised to reinstall the OS once you migrate to the new platform. If anything, backup any and/or all critical data before you swap the motherboard(combo) out.

ok thank you, sorry for posting in the wrong area

also once i got windows installed on my SSD i should then be able to plug in my other HD and get the data right? or does that drive need a format aswell?
