Getting a new/replacement Asus P9X79 via RMA due to dead audio; question about my RAID 5 array...

Hello, all. So a little while back I posted about not getting any audio from my mobo and after trying a bunch of different solutions suggested by some of you all and others from different forums, Asus thinks some audio component on my P9X79 is bad. I have seen threads regarding similar failures with this series along with the LE & PRO variants so I am guessing it is a known problem.

I am completely comfortable doing the swap, but my question is regarding my RAID 5 array, which is an Adaptec RAID 5 with 4x3TB WD Red HDD's. I was not the original owner/builder of my machine but I am in contact with him regarding this. When I do the initial install and boot with the replacement motherboard, do all I need to do is mirror the settings that are in there right now and I should be good to go? I am running the latest BIOS and drivers for every component so I am sure the versioning will match on the replacement motherboard, but to be honest this is my first experience with any RAID array and I don't want to f**k anything up and make a costly mistake.

Thank you all in advance for your time and input.

Thank you for your swift reply. I am sorry if the following is a seemingly ridiculous question, but I just want to make sure I get the order of things correct if even there is a correct order. Is it alright to begin with the RAID array connected to the motherboard and everything else connected just as it was on the old one, and then during the boot go right into the BIOS and make all the proper adjustments on the settings, then just F10 and it should be good to go? Thanks again!

Spectacular. Thank you very much for your time and expertise; it is genuinely appreciated.
