Picking up a PC tomorrow
It's a dell xps studio 7100
Phentom x6 1035t
4gb ddr3 ram
1tb hard drive
Has a graphics card but the seller is unsure which one
From a wuick Google search it seems to have a 450w psu

I'm planning to upgrade the ram to 8gb and get a new gpu but unsure which one? This matching cost me £100 with a monitor and other peripherals. Was it worth it? Which gpu should I get? I'm looking to play cs go, fm16 and possible games like fallout 4

Solution

I would recommend upgrading the system, like getting a new mobo.

Here is what you should do, allocate alot of money towards upgrading parts.

Get a motherboard with OC capability and OC that Phenom because they OC really well.
Get a radeon card, something small to start off with like a R9 360, 370.
Upgrade RAM

Other than that a PC is a PC and we all gotta start gaming somewhere :3

Yea seems like a good buy, you should get a R9 380 gpu to run the games you want. I am pretty sure there will be bottleneck but i need t o know more about the system to determine how bad such as Clock speed on the CPU, etc.
