I seem to be getting a whole bunch of blue screens of deaths. I am not really sure now to problem solve it. They seemed to all start after a few power outages and, because I am a dummy, I didn't have a UPS and things just kind of got killed. The errors that I am getting are PFN_List_Corrupt ; IRQL_Not_less_or_equal ; and Memory_Management. I am not sure on how to fix this. Any and all help would be great. Thanks guys/girls.

Don't need a UPS for those.... a surge protector alone would be just as useful (and cheaper), unless you want to have the UPS kick in when an outage occurs so you can save whatever you're working on.

With power outages (depending on what caused the outage of course) RAM tends to be the first thing to die. Download a copy of MemTest86+ and test your ram. If any errors are detected, replace the offending ram stick.

I'll ask you some basic questions, so that I'll be able to give you further help:

1) I which stage the blue screens appears? is it in the POST stage? or is it after Windows loads up?

2) Doe's the blue screens appear in the same stage over and over, or they appear randomly?

3) What is your PC specifications? (make sure to specify the PSU model)

They appear after Windows loads. There is no rhyme or reason to them appearing it seems. Sometimes when playing Call of Duty 4, sometimes while surfing the internet.

I haven't tested the ram yet, my iso for memtest 86 hasnt been working. havent had a change to make a new one. and i was thinking a UPS because if it is in the middle of a write on the HDD wont the files become corrupted? I do have a surge protector though.

I found a memtest 86 part on my ubuntu disc. I ran it overnight and through school and it showed up with over 1600 errors. I dont know what they are, not being familiar with the program and the ins and outs of ram, but i know that there is definitely a problem. Is there anyway to fix this or do i need to send it back to GSkill and try and get a replacement?
