Getting an error when loading a new game

I installed the video game Evolve via Steam today and upon running it I get the following error:

"Unsupported video card Detected! Continuing to run might lead to unexpected results or crashes. Please check the manual for further information on hardware requirements."

When I click "ok" to close the error message the game just crashes before launching. I've updated my GPU drivers and made sure to update my Win7 but I'm still having the same issue. I also rolled back my video driver but alas, nothing. I'm very sure I meet the minimum requirements for the game and I'm not getting any feedback from the game dev's forum, so any help?

It looks like you are using the standard windows display drivers.
Download the latest drivers from the amd website:
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+7+-+64
I suggest downloading the 14.9.1 beta driver as the 14.9 drivers had issues with crashing in some games.
