Getting an SSD and want to fresh install windows

I had a updated version of Windows 7 to 10 so I was wondering if I have to install the original disk first or something else to get windows 10 back again. i have an OEM version of Windows 7 btw. Thanks!

The most important thing to remember before you tamper with your storage configuration is to perform a full backup of your system and personal files somewhere off-site. Otherwise you are bound to encounter the so-called OS confusion. After having the OS up and running from the SSD, plug back the secondary drive (which you have already backed up somewhere off-site), and then use the Disk management in Windows to reformat it and get rid of the old installation.
