Getting an SSD

My SSD is shipping late and I already have a hard drive. If I install Windows 10 on the hdd will I have to install Windows again once I install the SSD?

IF you carefully partition your hard drive to just smaller than your SSD, you could install on the HDD, then clone that to the SSD and after verifying that the SSD works without the HDD powered up, remove the partition and reformat the HDD.

It will be much simpler to wait.
