Greetings! I've had a pc for about 4 years now and I wanna upgrade my graphics card and PSU but im not sure if my pc will have the right components to make it.
Right now im running a GT 720 (not very good for gaming)

I was looking at a GT 1030 and it rlly fits my style of gaming, pretty cheap and decent. Model: MSI GeForce GT 1030 2GB LP OC

I was also loking for a new PSU ofc since the one I have now is only 180W so I need a new one. Maybe this model: Corsair CX450M, 450W PSU

Also my processor is Intel core i7-4770 3.40GHz.

My question is will a Lenovo Sharkbay Socket 0 motherboard be able to make it? If not, is there any other PSU's or Graphics card's that will make it in there.

Im very new to pc specs and stuff like that so please take it easy on me hehe.

Any help would be much appreciated! 😀

That PSU will do the job but I don't know if it will fit inside your PC chassis and whether it will work with your motherboard. Your Lenovo PC is probably using a custom PSU and not a standard one. In the following link => https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo...-0-Motherboard-Power-Supply-Unit/td-p/2274052 , you'll see that you'll need a PSU adapter cable in order to connect the Corsair PSU with your motherboard but I still don't know whether a standard ATX PSU will fit inside your Lenovo PC case. I think that you should contact Lenovo customer support for that kind of info or perhaps post here a photo of your PC case and your current PSU. Alternatively here is a YouTube video:

It provides instructions on upgrading the PSU in a Lenovo PC. If you do have a similar Case/PC combo you'll know if a new ATX PSU will fit. However be careful with this video because it shows how to manually create an adapter and how to connect the individual cables. The safest way is to go and get yourself an adapter, if you aren't too experienced with this kind of staff. This is what it looks like = > https://www.amazon.com/Power-Supply-Adapter-Cable-Lenovo/dp/B00WE5KSFQ . Good luck.

Ok so in the video it shows the same case as the one I got and the same PSU I think. Here is a pic of what's inside my case, a little dust but oh well. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/440141139291537409/551231389509484568/image0.jpg Used discord for a Screenie. :) So I only rlly need an adapter to hook it up i guess? Do u know anything about the Graphics card tho? If it will fit with the Lenovo Sharkbay?

Seems like a good card but Im trynna going for cheap graphics card like the 1030, looked some vids and it runs all the games im playing with over 100 frames. I just wanna know if it fits with the motherboard, since I have no idea XD

I wouldn't use an 180W PSU with a discrete graphics card. It may work, since the 1030 is a low wattage GPU but you would be stressing that PSU to its limits. You already have a CPU that needs close to 100W (at load) and if you add the GPU and all the other system components you'll be loading the PSU close to its max capacity which is never a good thing. You may end up killing the PSU and in a worst case scenario it may blow up killing some system parts like the motherboard, GPU or CPU. Therefore you have to get a bigger PSU in order to be on the safe side. Good luck.
