I have attempted to play payday 2 and command & conquer: tiberium wars on my custom build and I get blue screened every time. I have gotten the memory management screen for both, the "IRQL Not Less or Equal" and "Bad Pool Header" for Payday 2 alone. What is the problem?

A problem I can think of is that R9 390 requires 650W psu, so as soon as you stress your GPU (enter a game) the power usage goes up and you get a blue screen. Try removing the R9 390 and running the games with the integrated GPU of the i5-6500 (disregard the low FPS just see if new BSODs will appear without the r9 390).

48A and 550W on the 12V rail is more then enough for an r9-390. that psu should be good enough

blue screens are typically driver issues; that said i understand why your mind went to the psu, undervolted gpus can do that too.

how do I know which driver to update?
