[SOLVED] Getting BSOD when gaming ?

Spouse bought a prebuilt from a local store, canada computers, and any game launched will eventually be met with a Bsod error that will either just Bluescreen the wholesetup and reset itself, or just crash games with sometimes giving an error code.Blizzard's Overwatch gave him BLZOWCLI00000005 While other games have a generic "failed due to memory/gpu" with no codes crash'close.

Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

• Open Windows File Explorer
• Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump
• Copy the mini-dump files out onto your Desktop
• Do not use Winzip, use the built in facility in Windows
• Select those files on your Desktop, right click them and choose 'Send to' - Compressed (zipped) folder
• Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)
• Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

RAM - 16gb (what make?) 2 x 8gb? I assume since its says Dual channel
GPU - RTX 3070
SSD - 1tb WD

Sorry for the late reply, actually THINK i figured it out. seems like it was the ram. swapped out for new ram and the issues so far have stopped. was 2 x8gb kingston ddr4, used my old corsair 2x16 sticks and no issues now
