Getting Corsair LPX 3200MHz RAM to run at specified speed.

Hello.

I've just put my new system together.
I'm using Corsair LPX 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, with timings of 16-18-18-36, and a CAS latency of 16.

They're currently running at 2133, I think.

I have the Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3 motherboard.

How should I go about getting them to run at 3200MHz?

1) update to newest bios

2) go into bios and enable xmp or docp for the 3200 speed.

3) if it fails to boot go back into bios enable it again but change speed to 2933 after enabling it

The Bios is the latest version already.
I enabled xmp, but when I restarted the system wouldn't boot. I took out the CMOS battery and it's working fine now.

How can I change the speed to 2933? I can't seem to find out how.

Look for the ram speed and Change it after enabling xmp. Not familiar with your exact board but usually there is a memory settings tab somewhere. I'm sure YouTube has some guy playing around in your bios on camera

Alright.

I've found all the tabs and whatnot, but they seem to be stuck on the "auto" setting, and I can't change it.
