Hello,

I've been getting CTDs for a few months now, started back in feb.

Initially it was in KCD2 only, then tried other games like BG3 and the first KCD game and got CTDs in those aswell.

I cant reproduce it, it happens when going into dialogue, opening a map, changing tabs or outfits in a game(the latter KCD2 mostly). Sometimes after ten minutes, sometimes twenty, no way to predict.
I did a BG3 playthrough in the past without a single CTD, same for the first KCD game.
Only the game crashes, everything else runs fine.
No freezes or stutters, just a CTD.
KCD2 and BG3 are installed on an internal SSD, KCD1 is installed on a HDD. All have had CTDs. Only one really old game doesnt.

I've tried changing GPU drivers(most complaints I see are about getting blackscreens, but tried it anyways)
I tried an SFC Scan
I tried resetting to default GPU settings
I used a diagnostic tool to check CPU (it passed)
Ran a 3d check and see nothing out of the ordinary for the GPU
I've opened the case and checked it, wiring is okay.
There's more things, that dont come to mind right now. I initially thought it was an issue with just one game.

I've got 64GB Ram
An ASUS RTX 4090
13th gen Intel i9-13900k
1200w Corsair PSU
on win10 v2009

I've tried everything I could think of, I'm out of idea's at this point...

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

That's 20H2, you have updates pending for your OS. Perhaps try and install Windows 11 onto an empty spare drive and see if the issue is alleviated.

Using DDU to remove all GPU drivers?

Only the game crashes, everything else runs fine.
Where are you sourcing the installer for the game?

You forgot to mention the make and model of your motherboard. Include the BIOS version for said motherboard as well.

Got a link to said ram kit?
