I've got a hard drive from my old PC (from 2003), which I'd like to have access to. I'm not sure if I'd necessarily like to use it, but at least see what's on it. I just recently built a new PC and while playing around with the old hard drive I realized the difference between the connections. Is there a way to convert from the old connection to SATA, and what exactly is the old connection? to describe it, it looks like a 24-pin mobo power connection. It might not actually be 24 pins as well, but it looks similar to that.

Solution
The above-mentioned adapters do exist, I have a couple and they work great. Expect to connect the HDD to it, also connect the power cable (comes from the adapter as well) and then connect the whole thing to the PC via USB. It looks kinda messy, with all the cables laying around (since it's not an enclosure or a dock) but works nevertheless. Some adapters actually have multiple types of HDD connectors on different sides of them, you only need to match the HDD with the adapter's connector (PATA, IDE, SATA, etc). Amazon is your best friend to find these, along with Google.
This is what I use:
